Welcome to Blue Marmot Studio, home of artists Nancy Marlatt and Tara Pappas. We welcome you to visit our intimate studio space, enjoy original artwork, and partake in a free make & take mother’s day card. We are excited to share our endeavors with you.

We are located in the Laramie Plains Civic Center, Room 167. Please enter the building nearest Sunshine Coffee for access to the building. We are located down the hall to your left.

“Reflections” a mixed media piece by Nancy Marlatt. On display at a juried exhibition of Wyoming artists. Exhibition rotates between two galleries throughout the summer of 2022.

Watercolor USA | Springfield Art Museum

Nancy’s piece, “The Back Road” was juried into the national Watercolor USA exhibition. It will be on exhibition at the Springfield Art Museum summer 2020.

Organized in 1962, this year marks the 59th year of Watercolor USA. The nationally known exhibition is open to artists from all 50 states and U.S. territories, and seeks to discover what is new and what is next in the world of contemporary American watermedia. This year’s exhibit was judged by Misa Jeffereis who currently serves as an Assistant Curator at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis. 

Of the 471 entries submitted by 283 artists from 48 states and the District of Columbia, Jeffereis selected 81 works by 81 artists representing 30 states for inclusion in the exhibition.

Nancy will join Laramie's only all homemade/handmade artisan bazaar! Each vendor has different, high quality, handcrafted items! There will be live music, fresh coffee and treats, all mediums of artwork, and a visit from Santa!

Nancy will have hand painted Christmas ornaments, original artwork, prints, and blank artist cards available.

Friday night we will be open after the parade of lights for Hot Chocolate, Apple Cider, and a sneak peek of all items available the following day!

Bring a non-perishable food donation to be donated to local families this Holiday season and be entered into a drawing to win items from all the awesome artisans!

Nancy Marlatt will be a participating artist in the group exhibit "Sacred Water" at ArtConnect Gallery, Laramie, WY from April 4-27, 2019. “Sacred Water” celebrates our special relationship and environmental justice with our precious resource, water. The group exhibition also features the 2018 Shepard Symposium & Laramie High School Mural and public launch for the 2019 Shepard Symposium.
