About MY ART

Creating art is my passion. I find that my artwork is influenced by people, places and events that have impacted my life. Drawn to water and all things paper, translucent mediums are a natural fit for my interests. I am particularly fond of watercolors, diluted acrylics, and paper of all types. I enjoy exploring various forms of watercolors such as pencils, crayons, gouache and pen and ink to detail lines, shapes, and shadows. Not to forgo other forms of art, I use digital photography to help study my subjects and I’m always up for learning new and challenging materials.

A native of Colorado, I relocated to Wyoming in 1999 and now call Laramie home. I absolutely love the open spaces and blue skies of Wyoming. In addition to earning a BA in Molecular Biology at the University of Colorado (1998), I earned my BFA in Art at the University of Wyoming (2015).
